New Adventure

Last Fall when I left Catalina Island and was headed for home there was one thing I didn’t share. Before my bags were fully packed, my art easel was securely stowed away, and goodbyes were said, the Lord revealed to me I would return to Catalina Island off the coast of California in the Spring! However, I was very much missing friends and family and my heart was set for home in South Carolina, the last thing I was thinking of was the future.     Usually when I hear something from the Lord, I usually think “yeah sure, ok God”....

Argento

Several years ago, I got to live out a big dream of mine. That was to learn how to ride a horse. Every night I fell asleep to the roll of the ocean waves and dreamt about what I was going to do the next morning.    I didn’t let any moment slip me...

Catalina Island for the Fall

Catalina Island for the Fall

Now that summer has come to a close and the light grows more dim each day, I’ve finally found the time to slow down and reflect from my Summer on Catalina Island. The days were so full of swirling details, people, changing tides, and lots of sunshine. The island has a magical way of pulling all people from different regions of the country to its shores year after year during the July and August months. I reunited with so many friends that feel like family at this point that share the same love for the island; more specifically Gallagher’s...
