Catalina Island

Whether I’m away from Catalina Island off the coast of southern California, or I’m there for the summer, I seem to find myself still brushing the blue colors of the oceans onto canvas. While I’ve been home in South Carolina I’ve begun crafting multiple collections that I can’t wait to release and share. However recently, I’ve just put together a small Catalina collection on gallery profile stretched cotton canvases. From the completion of this collection I knew I needed to return to the island to work and paint firsthand. After some planning and traveling I’ve finally arrived and am so eager to see what comes from it. Three months of my time here will be spent working at the amazing Christian ministry Campus by the Sea. It was here that I truly felt the Lord began my artistic journey, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to unfold this summer.
